Here is an introduction to Manchester Central Foodbank
Manchester Central Foodbank was founded in 2013 by a group of students connected with the Manchester Universities Catholic Chaplaincy who were passionate about tackling food poverty and making sure that those in the local community experiencing emergency food poverty would be supported.
Since then we have operated out of the Catholic Chaplaincy on Oxford Road, primarily serving the local community of Ardwick , Longsight, City Centre and parts of East Manchester.
We run sessions 3 days a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am – 12 and accept donations at our warehouse Monday – Friday. Get in touch to find out more!
