Piccadilly Train Station Collection Raises Record High Funds

On Friday June 24th a team of dedicated Foodbank volunteers collected a record  £1,409 in donations as they manned Piccadilly train station from 7am to 7pm.   This was the largest amount of money that any foodbank had ever collected at the station.

The Manchester Central Foodbank is very grateful for the generosity of Manchester commuters and visitors as well as for the hard work of the volunteers and employees of Piccadilly train station who made the day possible.
