Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now. We are also happy to accept fresh food donations – but please get in touch with us first! It’s always helpful if they arrive at the beginning of the week, as this will give us plenty of time to distribute them during the sessions. Please note, we cannot accept donations of opened food items or toiletries.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please contact us via email ([email protected]) or telephone 07928412339 to arrange a time/day on which to drop off the donations. If you need us to collect a donation, please email [email protected].

We also accept donations directly online, through our partners at Give Today – head to their website to find out what we’re most in need of, and how to support us.

Alternatively, please see the table below for our food supermarket collection point locations.

We ask that any food that has been purchased in a different store and brought into Tesco, Asda or Sainsbury’s stores should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
